I wonder what's the expected amount of years for an OLED. Not for games but for movies. Say if I don't watch stationary logo programming. How long till the tv gets less bright etc. asking from people who lived with oleds for a decade plus. I know this isn't reddit lol.
I happen to love sony tvs, but the justification to spend 4 grand on a 65", when there are some other tvs brighter and bigger with just as good processors doesn't fly this time, when this is just a little brighter than the A95L and probably just as good picture.
I would never pay 4 grand for 65 inch that's insane. There are other QD-OLED's which are cheaper with just as good picture quality for way less money. Plus has more to offer as far is better specs for much less money to. Sony Should offer a lot better specs than the other QD-OLED TV's if their going to charge 4 grand for a 65 inch. It just makes no sense to pay way more money for a Sony and get a weaker TV as far is specifications go.
I absolutely love the feet. My previous tvs have all been sony but only led. I eventually realised that i want to be watching at least Qled. I wish i could spare a few thousand for this i really love it. 🙂 P.s i know I am off topic on this sorry. But I am loving my Samsung Q60C. In comarison to the sky glass sure it's not so bright but it looks a lot sharper and colours especially are much more natural..major difference was disabling the brightess optimisation. Albeit only 60 hz game mode is pretty good as well. Earc sent atmos but only in dolby digital form. Even with uhds. But I will pick up another higher end Samsung later. If this is an entry level tv i am excited how much better a higher end model is going to be. Also like the find my phone option thats going to be oretty handy 🙂 My apologies for going off topic!
The Bravia 8 mark 2 was given a 8.6 overall score while the S95F & LG G5 received a 8.9. The A95L also has better scores than the mark 2, according to rtings.
Is this a bad TV? Absolutely NOT! But you’re better off with an A95L (which you can get for cheaper, at 77 inches and has higher testing scores and measurements compared to the Bravia Mark 2,) S95F, Or LG G5. Especially if you’re a GAMER then go with the S95F.
Saw it at my local BB yesterday and sorry but I wasnt impressed. Plus still no HDMI 2.1 on all ports, no backlit remote ect. And for the kind of money they are asking for it it should have all those features. So way overpriced but that seems to be a Sony thing. That being said. Great review as always Steve.
I had to let you know that my Hisense works at top performance because of your calibration methods. I know this is a Sony review, but I just had to let the people know.
I hate there's no option for feet to be closer onwards,I would need to spend another 170.00 on a Sanus mount config.Also no backlit is inexcusable for such a premium price
I will say the Bravia 3 is more better than the tv you've showed us, because of the features it has especially the Dolby Vision Atmos will make everything look so much better

This TV is waaaaaaaay overpriced. You can't justify it.

A95L is still better, and it is a master series tv!! Worse successor than it's predecessor.

It looks amazing. Sony has been killing it with their TVs the last 2-3 years imho.
According to all the reviews, this new model is bad.
