Hisense U8QG USB-C DisplayPort Explained: Cables, Direction and Gaming Limits

The 2025 Hisense U8QG is unusual among televisions because its USB-C connector can receive DisplayPort video from a compatible computer or adapter. The important detail is signal direction: the television is the USB-C display endpoint, so a computer with DisplayPort output needs a DisplayPort-source-to-USB-C-display cable or a genuinely bidirectional cable. The 55- through 85-inch models are easier to place because of their compact height-adjustable pedestals; the 100-inch model is best reserved for shoppers with enough furniture width or an appropriate wall mount for its much larger hardware.
