Question, I have to connect a replacement phone. I want certain texts from 2019. does smart switch transfer them over? I read it only goes 2 years back. Since we're in 2022..would texts from early to mid 2019 transfer over? Thank you

You said that it does not move data, only the applications…Does that means that it will not transfer things like the calendar entries and text message threads?
In that case, is the Google backup and restore better for those things?
