I have searched high and low for an answer to the following question. Does this TV support the Bravia Cam the same way the A95L does? There is a cover on the top of the TV in the back that is very hard to remove. This would be where the Bravia Cam plugs in on the A95L. Does that cover remove on the Bravia 8 ii? Does this TV support non USB Bravia Cam similar to the A95L?
I can see the cover on the back of the TV but cannot remove it.
Sony New Zealand charges NZ$5,999.95 for the 55' version. Sony makes the best TV's in the world!! Google OS, natural picture, best TV processor, better in-built speakers than Samsung/LG, and Dolby Vision support. Downside is Sony no longer makes smaller TV's 42'/43' like what Samsung/LG do, unless you go with the Bravia 3 which doesn't get the Sony XR Cognitive processor nor HDMI2.1 ports
Im sure it’s a great tv, I did see it in person and just bought an oled I’m happy with. But the sony is shameless in its pricing. At what point would you say, no thanks, not for me? Lots of ppl agree. But YouTubers keep advertising for them…. Not a good idea bc if you keep doing it, Samsung and LG will be next to double their prices just like Sony did, and we’ll all be paying at least $3000USd for next years oled TV’s. So maybe we should stop helping Sony raise the prices of TV’s for everyone as I’m pretty sure ppl are happy with prices on the other 2 leaders as they are right now. Also, Sony disgusts me with only 2x hdmi 2.1 ports while charging almost double for their TV’s…. At what point do we say enough is enough and stop validating this obvious greed and disrespect Sony has for their customers? I mean, only 2x HDMI 2.1 ports, REALLY?! And, you’re capped at 120hz?! Ouchhh….. Brutal slap in the face. Sony is making a shameless killing here. Samsung and LG are both up to 165Hz. But if you’re a gamer, what happens if the next Xbox and ps6 support higher than 120hz? Lots of money down the drain. So many valid reasons to ignore Sony flagship oled TV’s. I mean, they’re STILL selling their 2023 flagship oled for MORE money than LG’s and Samsung’s 2025 flagships!! And they’re claiming the A95L is a sale price too. Disgusting. Isn’t it peculiar why they’re still selling a 2023 tv? It’s bc enough ppl aren’t buying it bc the price is a scam. Please stop buying and promoting their TV’s while ignoring the fact they’re dumbing down their TV’s and charging 1.5x more than the other 2 equally good, if not better, competitors.
I love OLED TV but my only issue is The Burn in problems I actually use TV for more than 6-7hrs no same contents. Hotstar, YouTube videos or download movies and play through VLC player this is what I do… I don't watch news or anything but I like sports. I love OLED but burn in is the issue😢

Is the "screen size" option that is availble in gaming mode can be used watching regular TV programs?

Picture quality looks solid but I hate the feet on this model. I much prefer the feet on the Bravia 7, 8 and 9.
Rtings said that the S95F & LG G5 are better! If you want a Sony OLED then go with the A95L, it’ll be cheaper and comes in 77 inches.
According to all the reviews and tests, this TV didn't do very well.
The Sony website states the TV has 32GB storage (not 17GB)

Great TV but that price😂its 3.5-4k usd, u can legit get a 77 inch c4 for 1.8 or a 65 s90d for 1.6.
And it only comes with 2 hdmi 2.1 ports, and one is eArc💀. People that buy this legit just buy it because its Sony.
Steve, "3d audio" on the ps5 is supported on all TV's. Its made for TV's.
