Good review! For me, TCL has it on lock. QM7K with the TRUE glossy display, better blooming control and the ability to update firmware in TCL's history over Hisense makes me look their way. Now I'm only deciding between the QM7K or QM8K this holiday.
Hate to be a hater but I will never buy a Hisense again. Two years ago bought the U8h that was at the time the hottest thing for the price. After two years, the middle of screen started dying and past the one year mark so I couldn’t take it back.
Surpassingly I like this TV For Night Time Watching It's Very Accurate at 300-NITS and is a Great TV for – Just getting in to bed before Winding down , time and unwinding to Sleep + Without the High Brightness ,, Messing up your Sleep ,,, Sycle – As we need a Lot of good Habits to Be able to Sleep Well = So Keep Brightness and Adrenaline to low if Possible as you can For you Over-All health -Great TV
At 0:58 of the video there is a slide which I believe has incorrect information. There is no "50 version of this model and the "55 model uses an IPS-ADS panel.
Hi Steve, great video as always… So I'm in the market for a new set, saw the 98" U7QG at $2,498 , and an 85" U8QG for $2,200. I love big screens but also want great picture quality. I already have a high quality speaker setup… So pls,which of these TVs would you recommend
Why am I seeing grid lines in almost every close up shot?? It’s especially noticeable in the dse scenes and upscaling. Also, the top and bottom borders have these wierd black step like patterns. What is that?! 🎉
I just bought the Hisense U7N 65 inch tv 2 weeks ago so it will be awhile before I upgrade. I love Hisense tvs the past 3 tvs Ive bought have been Hisense.
I'm planning to buy a TV this week, I've been watching your Samsung Crystal UHD Videos and those seem pretty okay. $500 is my budget, I want vibrant colors and good blacks. What can you suggest? ❤️
❤❤ for ppl tag team brand shaming. ME + my buddy ( both former SONY snob), bought 4 – Hisense ( 2 U8 , 1 U7, 1 $85” UX ——-6yr, 4 yr, 3 yr and 6 month => $7000 combine/ 14 yr usage ). No waranty. U go to Bestbuy USA site, all the U7 U8 reviews no quality issues. All sizes. There pl dont buy waranty n just get mad at TV cuz bad luck. Sorry for d bad luck. Also that Happens to all brands. Thats why waranty is for. —— I BROKE my $1800 Ipad pro recently ( M2 Chip). 🍎 store :” if you have waranty : $49 for replacement. NO waranty : $800!!😮😮 , new Model $2000” . I had to buy an $2000 new ipad ❤Tendon OLED ❤ still looks ( dim + blue) horrible compare to Hisene U8 at home . Got be mad at myself. 😊 and I dont learn i still didnt buy waranty. —— im NOT mad at Apple 🍎. customer SErvice.
Steve it's U75QG, please correct it… U7Q is a totally different tv that's sold in India and it's very inferior to U75QG. Hisense has done this to confuse buyers and sell them lower quality TV instead of the real deal.
@techsteve Any guidance appreciated—I am debating between the 85 inch x90cl for 1399 and the 83 inch lg b4 oled for 1999 at costco. Cannot decide what will be better for movies in my basement. It’s not well lit space so glare and brightness should not be an issue. I also like that the b4 in 83 inch has the c4 processor, a9 gen 7 and 144hz, albeit it still has the regular oled panel vs the evo panel. What you think would be better? Never had an oled. What you recommend?

Hello thinking about getting the Hisense Qd6 43” for gaming what’s your opinion on it? Saw it at Best Buy for around 200$
Way too thick, especially for a mini-led tv. Looks as thick as an old fluorescent backlit tv.

Which is brighter, this or the qm7k? Also which has better reflection handling and colors?
