Home Steve Does Tech Why are TV’s so disposable? Hisense WiFi / storage full bootloop #tech #pc #technology #shorts
This isn’t a sympathy video, I’m just opening up to share my personal experience of how cost cutting and poor manufacturing in today’s tech impacts vulnerable groups the most, especially the poor and disabled. From a PC to a laptop, releasing a subpar device and ignoring the QC issues is a common practice. Hisense isn’t alone in this, it’s a known secret that Smart TV’s use the cheapest IC’s available, and if you want your TV to last, you should never use the built-in apps. The fact this is acceptable on thousand dollar devices is disgusting. TV’s are now essentially a computer, so why don’t they treat it like one?

YOUR FIRST MISTAKE WAS BUYING HISENSE ☝🤓
This TV was bought during the chip shortage at a time when EVERYTHING was expensive. The closest Samsung TV was over $2k. It seems people have quickly forgotten just how expensive things got during this period where NOTHING WAS IN STOCK. This was THE CHEAPEST 65" TV available when it was bought. A 65" Sony TV was nearly 2 grand and you couldn't find it anywhere. HiSense at the time just won a CES award for this specific TV. The picture was insanely good.
Now why did I buy a TV during the chip shortage? I didn't know if my parents were going to survive another month so I wanted to spoil them with a new TV as their old one was a piece of trash.
But it's always the consumers fault, right? They should know better! Say that to yourself next time YOU have a product fail on you due to a known issue.
Hynix chips are horrible some of the wii u's have them and some that have it brick
The cat 😂😂
Why is SKhynix this bad and shitty but still brand like HP use their SSD
So… solution other than a TARDIS to go back in time and not-buy that TV ? I mean, if that chip really is the problem, can someone well-versed in intricate component soldering acquire a new chip and replace it?
This is why I stick with main brands.
Tier-2 brands don't have a big reputation to defend so they will burn you if it suits them financially
My LG 43UN7340Pvc has a total power on time of 22075 Hours
My LGs have been fine
"Ingest phallus"? That's my joke now. I am taking it.
Sorry for your mom's condition. Great job to you and your father for taking care of her. May Allah bless both of your heart ❤
Al Gorithm just got around to sharing this.
Sorry to hear about the difficulties with the fams. Take care.

Daisy is a sweet cat!
I hope your mom and dad remain as long as they can, they seem like wonderful people. And I hope you got them a better tv than that hishitz. And I hope manufacturers didn’t make TVs so disposable. These chips need to be replaceable.
Plz get screened for dementia
Hisense turned into nonsense
Never forgive GenX/boomers/millenials for throwing away most of the CRT TVs and monitors
That's what happens when you buy budget TVs, they last a year and then end up in the trash.
That smart tv must have Down syndrome
“And this is daisy.”
explodes
The greatest flip off that ever lived
from hisense to nonsense
Oh that’s good to know because I also have a Hisense 65” tv. 😢
It’s still alive for now. However the damn thing doesn’t play nice with my Samsung soundbar as it often doesn’t connect and I have to turn the bar off and on again then switch between tv speakers and soundbar until audio from the bar comes out. 😮💨
As an anime fan myself, i feel him on the escape. Im disabled myself. I cant do much of anything.
Happy holidays to you and your family. Ok, mr. Tech?
God bless you brother your amazing
You spent $1000 on a Hisense? There's the problem.
👌✌️
Theirs a reason Hisense tvs are so cheap, they use shitty parts, and let’s say it doesn’t die in a few years, it’ll slow down much faster than the majority of bigger brands. Yes bigger brands you’re kinda paying for the name but the name matters because they invest in their products.
