  1. At 2:20 into the video you introduce text that states "VISA" referring to the rear mounting hole pattern. This is a misspelling as it should state VESA. Otherwise a great video review!

  2. I just won this from work and giving it to my parents. I have the 65" inch 65r617 love that TV to death. Has awesome colors and looks really good with video games.

  3. I have had my S405 for a year I love it! Play Xbox One X on it every day! I will be upgrading to the QLED TCL when it comes out this year. They just announced it at CEO. It have hundreds of contrast zones and Quantum Contrast with Miniled donor should be Great!!!

  4. Steve, does it have an always on mic…or camera I need to disable…don't need those features…can't find any documentation…appreciate any help or direction you can offer. -Michael

  5. Does anyone know if this has screen delay while playing games? I know my 80” tv in my living room has that but i have a small 23” gaming tv and am looking to upgrade it to this one but i just need to know if anyone has experienced a screen delay at all while playing games

  6. Dear Steve, I just wanted to let you know, that I purchased the TCL 55" Class LED 6 series 2160 Smart 4k TV because of your recommendation, and I couldn't be happier !!! It is so bright I had to adjust it down some. Very clear beautiful picture, easy to use Roku interface and I added my Amazon fire stick easily. I'm not a gamer so I cannot attest to how that works. The sound to me isn't too bad, but I did order the Roku speakers, another awesome ! My bedroom is dark so the colors really pop and I have had no issues with vertical banding, dark corners, or turning off and on by itself. So far I love it and couldn't be happier ! Thank you for your informative video and keep up the good work. The way you explained everything helped me decide between the Samung and this and I'm so glad I got the TCL. Best buy for the $$$

  7. I have the 6 series with that little ring power button on the bottom right. It has HDR and high color gamut with Dolby HDR.
I got it to use it on my gaming PC. Though for some reason on my gtx 1080 whenever I activate HDR, there would briefly appear these small horizontal lines… probably has to do something with the hdr signal or just my gpu or the wrong color setting. Though mind you the lines only appear for a few seconds when i access the Roku picture settings with the star icon on the remote or smartphone.

  8. Tv is garbage, bought one on black friday 2017 and yesterday all of a sudden the tv powers on but just shows a blue screen. Did a hard reset last night and was working then again today back to the same blue screen. Funny this start happening right after the 1 year warranty is up.

  9. Hi Steve. Great review. How does the tv do at extreme viewing angles? Does it “blackout”? Is it “glarey”? My plan is to use this tv flat on a table to display digital maps for tabletop games like Dungeons & Dragons, and want to make sure I get a tv that is clear at those closer, steep angles. Thanks!
