I'm working together my plans for my outdoor kitchen, and I'd like a 65 tv out there for cooking and general hanging out. It would be under an awning in a position where rain couldn't hit it unless we had a hurricane or something. I'd buy a cover for it and keep it unplugged when not in use. Is it worth paying extra for an outdoor tv or just get a Walmart special and replace as needed? Picture quality isn't a top priority as I have my nice OLED in the living room. I'm in central NC if it makes a difference, as it can get pretty humid here in the summer.

One of the top factors to consider when choosing your outdoor TV location is the amount of dirct light it recieves during peak viewing times. Does the location you have in mind get too much sunlight, or will it be shaded most of the time? Are there any splashes nearby that could affect the TV's performance?
