A couple of points – did you know there is a magnetic bit right on top of the fan where you’re supposed to store the remote? I bought a second remote off eBay and keep one on the unit and one for elsewhere. If you lose one then you’ve always got the other.

Regarding reliability – I use one of these on stage and have done twice every weekend for the last four or five years. Perfect for the gigging musician – cold air for when you’re inside, warm air for when you’re shivering under a marquee. Still good as new.

Bonus tip – when you use it in the bedroom it becomes an amazing way to dry off hair and body after showering. Also as it’s quiet it makes the perfect late night hair dryer.

    Ok I’m done.
