Hey Steve…Very helpful video.Just what the doctor ordered to pique one's interest in this gadget. I had a couple of questions.
1)In case a word is hard to pronounce(Indian names or places etc) is there anyway we can use NATO code or something to spell the word for google to search?
2) Can we summon an On-screen Keyboard to type stuff?
3) Can it perform multiple tasks like say Display pictures and play music in the background?
4) Does an update of the underlying software happen on its own whenever it is connected to a Network or do we have to manually look for an update?
5) Does it have a reset button to wipe out all existing accounts/data and then add fresh ones?

Great Video. Very good but I'm missing something. I've connected Spotify and Pandora. It won't use the voice command. I have to hit the music button and manually play. Frustrating… I can't use voice. It broadcasts my voice and says the same thing and then does nothing. Maybe something simple but I've played with this for several hours.

Adding the mini speakers and lightbulbs is complicated. They didn't pair. I'll probably take the speakers and bulbs back and get my money back. Very disappointed in the accessories for the Lenovo Smart Display. I bought 2 for Christmas. I can only imagine the problems with trying to setup a thermostat or doorbell camera accessories. It's nothing more than an expensive unit to check recipes, watch YouTube videos, set timers and alarm clock.
Enjoyed this video, but really need to see the video showing NEST Thermostat set up. Google home cannot find the device after several tries so I have been unsuccessful in adding the thermostat to Google Home/Lenovo Display

Bought the 10" and is there a way to rotate the screen so it can be vertical. The device has feet to be this way… so there must be a setting to have it full time standing up. Any help would be appreciated.

I still have mine after all this time & I've never forgotten what a pain in the ass it is to set up. FYI, you have to be on the same Wi-Fi point as the device, otherwise Google Home doesn't detect it. GD!
