Hey Tech Steve, I'm looking to buy the 50" U6G soon, but not sure whether to wait for Black Friday 2022… Any thoughts? i.e. do Hisenses usually get good deals on Black Friday, would this even get any since it's an older model, etc. It was recently $50 off on Best Buy. Maybe I should just grab it next time it's $50 or so off rather than wait fof Black Friday?

I bought this model last year……Hisense – 50" Class H8G Quantum Series LED 4K UHD Smart Android TV…. It had the best picture I have ever seen. It lasted 1 year and one week just out living the warranty, I did not buy the extended, When I looked it up a lot of people say their Hisence quits after one fulll year maybe two, But it was my vert favorite tv, As far as picture it was the best…. I was so sad when I woke to the blue screen of death. Hisense ihas the best pic but it's like they are disposable, If you get two three years you're very lucky, but that picture can NLT be beat….

I’m Super late but just got this tv a couple weeks ago (solely based off this video and your other comparing it to the Samsung TU7000; thank you btw!) and I noticed at 6:49 you entered more in-depth settings that allowed you to “override” the resolution. I cannot find these options anywhere! Could you please tell me how/where to access them? Thank you !!

That force 120hz at 1080 is an Xbox setting or tv setting? If the panel is rated at native 60hz on display specs and rtings how can it be doubled like that never heard of any panel doing such a thing, where else is this confirmed or even mentioned? I only ask because I just ordered one and thinking of cancelling for the u7g because the 120hz

I currently have the q80a 55” which I paid $550 (open box display model) for my living room. I feel it is a little small but does the job. I have the chance to buy the 65” u6g for $465 (new) . These prices both include 5 year warranty. I do not plan on gaming on either of them but I do have the series x and would use it for sports gaming once and a blue moon when a friend is over. Hey i just purchased a Hisense 50U6G, but i dont see anywhere in settings to turn on "enhanced" or hdmi 2.0 format.
and when using my external 4k roku (which supports 4k and hdr), and in roky when i go to "display type" under 4k HDR 60hz it says " your tv does not support 4k hdr"
really appreciate any help you can offer

I just got the 55” Hisense 2022 a65h ugh model.
I have the R6E and it's a great 1-2yr TV then the Backlighting goes out.
We've owned many of these in our Family & just throw them away when they fail, which is about a 1yr to 1.5yrs old.
Beautiful picture & the best loud speakers! All for less than $300 for a 58"

I like to buy a new TV, here in India, Hisense u6g and u7h are exactly the same price, u6g with VA panel with android tv, 60hertz, while u7h has a vidaa os with amazon fire tv, ips panel with 4k120 hertz. Which one is your recommend, thanks in advance Steve❤
Just bought the TV but HDMI ports not working when attached to the cable box, I already have contacted the cable company and they changed the box but same issue remains. Any idea what to try?
U6g for 350 dollar or wait for u6k for 550 or above (not launched in India yet?) Specifically for dark room movies and series hdr experience and very casual story games…. I heard u6g is sometimes brighter in some area than it should be… Please clear my confusion sir. Thank you
