A 55 inch For under $500 I was looking at Hisense H8G (Android) 55r8f. I want a Roku but the fact that there's no bluetooth is insane. The one TV that satisfied me was TCL 6 Series R625 which is now sold out at the $500 price. Some retailers are selling it higher than that and I dont want to pay $600 for R635. Android TV interface doesn't compare, but have Airplay/Chromecast is essential. What a Dilemma!

I believe you can get a 55 for 300 now…. I only found this brand after my 1 yr old VISIO crapped out .. 2 years in and its still a great picture ..

I regret buying this TV, I do not like the way the remote is set up, I want my numbers back, I just want to click on 4.1 or 6.1 and go there. I don't want my TV set up using my email address. I don't want cable or any pay stations. at all. TV is free that's why they have commercial. I regret my purchase. II'm looking for old TV if they don't have a good remote.

Steve. At 8:34, can you access shared USB storage on wi-fi routers like TP Link like in android and LG OS? I've been doing that on my 2011 LG 55LW5600 through DLNA where I converted many of my DVD moves to MP4.
This is the television I'm considering but I have a question…how does it work concerning earphones? There will be times where I will be watching and don't want to disturb the rest of the house. I have Bluetooth hearing aids but the TV is not Bluetooth compatible…I notice that on the Roku app it has an earphone 🎧 icon…does the sound, if this is selected, then go from my Bluetooth phone to my hearing aids?
Just got the delay in shipping notice again today that 4/5 date needs to be rescheduled due to no inventory which makes it the fourth since ordering on 3/5 for the 75" H8G at BB so I pulled the trigger based on your review for the 65" R8F5 at Costco for $569. I assume the 5 is a Costco designation. If the 75" H8G ever ships, I'll move the 65" R8F5 to the guest bedroom or basement man cave. Who knows, coming from my LG 55" maybe the R8F5 in 65" will be sufficient and I may cancel the 75" H8G which would save me about $500. I like many don't like BB's policy about pre paying for a TV I don't have nearly a month later where as Costco only charges on the day you receive the TV let alone their liberal 90 day return policy and free additional one year warranty for a total of 2 on the Hisense.
Is there a way to make directv the default source? I hate having to go to source every time I turn TV ON. I have to use 2 remotes then

I gotta tell you this . I have a 6 month old 65 inch hisense tv, It died 2 months ago and they won’t honor their 1 yr manufacturer warranty so I’ve got a broken piece of shit . My only remorse was to put the credit card charge in dispute and I’m probably gonna throw it out. So if I told you I’m not impressed with them would you be surprised!!!! I believe it’s a defective tee com board . I even tried replacing the power supply and main board to minimize my loss
