Hi steve can i have your lg tone free earbuds for freee pls you places is san Diego and i san Fernando valley
Very cool test you put together Steve. No issues for my Samsung TU7000 👍🏼
Watch the gray scale with your cellphone camera to see more details. Cast YouTube to your TV if you don’t have the TV app. Sorry, I miss 20 of 21 in the edit, that’s where you may see some issues.
Very nicely done, Steve. So many people will find this useful 👏🏻😄
I have the TU7000 and I didn’t notice anything through my camera lens when doing the test
How to know the difference whether screen is good or bad?
Is there much difference in terms of brightness between the AU8000 and the TU8000? I know you will do a review on them, but I would like to know that information in advance. Please Bro 🙏❤️
I want buy it smart Samsung tv which is better tu7000 or qled 60
No issues on my Sony 900H I'm so happy
Red letters and figures in the corners, why???? If it is a test video, make it gray without red letters and figures in the cordners.
Perfect uniformity on my Panasonic VT-50 😉
I’m so shocked at how spot on my c1 and cx have been out of the box.
My newly purchased 50 inch X90J failed many of these tests including dirty screen. I’m still within the return window. Wondering if I should return the tv while I still can? Do poor performance on the test = a bad panel or symbolic of that brand/model number?
Wow… i have a Samsung Tu7000 and just found out I have a dark shadow vignette around and a bit more on the lower right side… I wonder if I should return or exchange it (got it last week); but also what if the other may have it worst? 😂
Question for you sir. I have read that loosing the screws a tad on the back of a panel can help alleviate dse and banding because those are usually caused by the stack being to tight. Have you ever tried doing this? I have also read that over time that dse and banding can go away bc the heat from the tv helps loosen up the insides a little. I just got a 70 inch tu7000 and have dse and banding and want to get rid of it if at all possible. Any thoughts? Thank you very much in advance!!
My Hisense U8G has dirty screen effect.
I first noticed when standing on the beach and planning across the horizon with the monocular in Elden Ring.
I have a Hisense U6G 55 inch that has DSE. I found that by lowering the backlight to 10 and rising the contrast to 90 I was able to reduce the Dirty Screen Effect substantially. It is barely noticeable now. Also my DSE was only noticeable when in horizontal panning shots of mostly same tone backgrounds like snow scenes or desert scenes. My Hisense did not have any DSE with static single tone backgrounds. So your test pattern static color backgrounds would not reveal the kind of DSE a lot of TVs have.
No issues on my Dell 2721hs, little bit surprised Oo
In the last 3 or 4 patterns I see a kind of aura around the red letters. Is it normal? What that means?
My tv is a 65QN95A (QN90A in USA)
Is it common that amoled phones has this grey uniformity ..?
My phone has this issue..
Pls reply
So do these eventually go away on their own? I have like this dark shadow, kind of like the size of a softball, on the right-middle side of my TV. My TV is a Vizio V405 LED or LCD (can't remember.) So is this contributed to dust because it shouldn't be anything other than that? I keep my TV pretty clean, minus the fact my house is possessed by some dust monster or something. Don't understand that.
xiaomi Mi TV A2 not perfect
Well… time to buy a new tv.
I just bought a 65x85j and I have some areas around the corners of the screen size of a football that appear brigher than the rest ot the screen on the last 2 images. This problem doesnt appear on any other colour or bright content, exept for the black images, where I can fairly spot them. Is there any fix to this? Sony says it can reduce over time, but I dunno. I can still send the tv back but im afraid I ll get another set with bigger issues, as I ve mentioned before the rest looks perfect, I get problems only with black picture. Thanks!
No vertical banding burn in or DSE on my Sony Bravia A80J one year old.
Hisense U6h and have dse on grey. I'm not expecting much a cheap tv brand.
In the darker few shades of gray, I’m noticing what looks like an oval splotch about an inch in length in the mid slightly upper right of the screen on my week-old Samsung S95B OLED. What could cause something like that? It kind of looks like burn in, but it really only happens on the darkest grays, and no other colors, and I haven’t used the TV for nearly long enough to burn in anything, let alone that shape in that place. Any thoughts? Is this something that will go away, or is this a replacement return?
On my Plasma this looks very good :D.
Its normal on x85k have dse on a corner?…the rest of the tv looks amazing but this part when i play with dolby vision looks specially dirty… u think this can accelerate damage on the tv in a future?

My TV has got MUCH more dirtier than it was, but what's interesting is that it's barely noticeable in actual usage. The blacks are perfect, still, the darker it got, the better results I got.
My monitor on the other hand is fine, no issues whatsoever, I'm not sure monitors can even suffer from DSE tbh, however, the backlight bleed in dark modes or dark scenes is annoying.
Sweet 🧁👍 I have zero DSE , I won the panel lottery
came here to test my monitor. cause of your intro, i thought my speakers were busted 🤦♂😅
