Id argue on getting Mini LED for your living room and OLED for your bedroom.
I have the QN90D in the living room and the S90D in the bedroom and these are perfect for those spaces.
The lack of Dolby Vision did seem like a huge setback, but when you actually watch DV content on these TVs, 90% of people won't even notice the difference.
The QN90D does have blooming as well, but its so minimal that 95% of people won't even notice the blooming or haloing issues. I notice it, but its such a non-issue that I dont even care because the rest of the TV is absolutely stunning and runs phenomenal.
My point is, TVs these days are at such a degree of quality, you can't go wrong with a TV these days, unless you're getting a regular non-smart TV. Which would be a bad decision when you can get last years or TVs from 2 years ago that are STILL such great TVs at a percentage of the price.

just gonna wait til the end of the year. LG is taking way too long to get the 55-inch G5 readily available anyway. It's out of stock everywhere, so I'll check back around November time.

Check out the AAA discounts for Samsung, it’s “up to 30% off”. Some of the Samsung reps aren’t any help though and don’t know that AAA does get the added discounts, so just try again till you get a rep that knows and can help (if the discount doesn’t automatically come up). I saved about $500 off of a new S90f.

Thoughts on a 2024 Hisense U8N in 55 vs. a 2025 TCL QM6K for a wall mounted bedroom TV?
The 75" U8N uses a far worse IPS panel (worse contrast, brightness, and responsiveness) than the VA panels at all other sizes. I think it should be avoided by default except those targeting better viewing angles at the expense of image quality.
I have a Hisense U8Q and wow. I love oled but the brightness is omg amazing . From what i saw the U8 55 is an ADS panel.

In 2021, I purchased a TCL 75R635, and now I'm considering upgrading to an 85-inch model. As an average TV viewer who enjoys YouTube, Netflix, and similar content, I'm not really into HDR or anything too high-end—just standard viewing. I've been looking at the QM7 and I'm wondering if, given my use case, it's worth upgrading. Aside from the additional 10 inches of the QM7 does the newer TV offer a significant improvement in picture quality that makes it worthwhile to upgrade?

Hey…any new Panasonic love? Wondered what you think of the Z95A and upcoming Z95B. The new Panasonic line is hard to find in Canada and not on Amazon to order. Watching a fee youtube videos on this and was going to wait a year to upgrade, holding off buying a 77 inch LG C4 for maybe one of these….

I had that LG Oled 48” that I purchased from Best Buy in January 2025. It died a few weeks ago (June 2025). I had it in a bedroom with an Xbox attached. Picture was good, but it stopped working. The apps did show up in the menus, so I bought a Fire stick. Worked for a month, then all the HDMI ports stopped working. I gave up and replaced it with a TCL(something I would never have even thought to buy), but it’s working out pretty good.
I would stay away from that specific LG.
i am trying to decide between the 98 inch and the 85 inch of the TCL QM8K or the QM7K is the QM8K worth 4000 more than the QM7K ? or would the Samsung S95F or the LG G5 / C5 / C4 83 inch be better ? or Hisense 100 inch U8Q wanna spend 5000 or less ( Canadian ) 3650 ( US ) will have it on a stand preferably room is 12×14 feet with no windows i want to feel the Immersion of the TV for movies and sports any thoughts people ? is the 98 inch overkill ? would the 85 inch be plenty ? look forward to any advice or thoughts awesome video by the way cheers everyone from Canada

You are ignoring the Panasonic Z95b with 'Thermal Air Flow' to cool the best panels made today. It will be brighter and last longer. It helps to think past one year
Hi, been watching your videos from Italy, they’re great! Can you take a moment to shed some light on a question for my particular need. In our 600 year old home a tv on the wall is sorta out of place whereas art is the norm – so we need a piece of art that is also a tv. I’ve been an Apple person for decades and my old home is a Smart home where I make use of AppleTV and HomeKit for much functionally. So, the question, is the Samsung Frame (a new one) Apple HomeKit complaint for things like on/off, volume, USB speakers.. I have a Plex Media server running in another area of the house wirelessly. The second question — is there only one cord to disguise or will I need more than one cord. As you eluded to in an earlier Samsung frame video we have massive stone walls so the cable will be exposed.
