i wish it could be powered by USB but wow Bass Boost made me want to rethink on my choices alone
good video Tech Steve , will the adapter you show work on the new LG uhd thin Q ,,, i did notice those control in the software when i looked around . I,m hoping to connect the RCA outputs to my older Sony amplifier ? would that be ok ?
Hi Steve , bought cheaper similar product , I have to turn stereo up to it's limit just to hear a little bit of volume. Any suggestions
The "Magic" LG remotes suck! So no surprise. I thought this would be good solution for me but I'm using the DAC on my desk next to the speakers and computer. Just a volume knob is all I need.
Hi Steve! Does it work for 5.1 channel?
The fact that you can use the headphones AND listen through the speakers would be helpful for someone who has hearing difficulties. It means that one can listen through the speakers at the volume level they desire while the person with the hearing difficulties can listen at the volume they desire through the headphones. I wonder it it's possible to add a Bluetooth transmitter to the converter so you could use wireless headphones?
Steve: I have a brand new 75" Sony Bravia x90k. Would this work by attaching Sennheiser RS120 analog headphones via the 120's recharge base? Please inform. I have a Toslink wire and rca cables fo connect to this converter if need be. The Sony only has Bluetooth for one pair of BT earbuds, but no multipoint. Bummer! I have two Sennheiser headphones that my lady and I would like to use together while viewing TV late at night. One base for two headsets. HELP! Thanks. 🙏♐
Can the DAC be connected to the TV and then output headphones so as not to disturb the family members with sound??? Please enlighten me 🙏🙏🙏
Does this play audio from the TV Youtube app as well? i ask because i bought one similar but it didn't work with the TV Youtube app, i would get a scrambled audio…
Hi steve, i know u mentioned the part about your system having an optical input. But do i still need a digital to Analog converter if both the tv and the speaker have an optical input?
Here I thought that digital out was already converted to analog. I didn't know about that PCM part I'll have to see if my Samsung has that. I've been wondering if I need a DAC and that is how I got here. Would a DAC make the sound better from Hulu to Roku plus HDMI to TV, TV digital out to DAC, DAC to Onkyo HT?
do you recommend using the LG C1 headphone jack or this dac then headphones
did this one come with the cables included?
I'm wondering if you'll be able to control volume via the LG magic remote with the LG C3 hooked up to powered bookshelf speakers?
thank you, nice video, ordered one through your link.
Regular TV and video coming from blu ray player works fine but when I switch to apps on my tv the dac buzzes without any audio…any ideas?
What's the difference in using a DAC or a HDMI cable?
Let me know the remote that we control the sound
I see you have the two bookshelf speakers on the left and right of the panel. Could I run center channel this way in an avr setup instead of a center channel in the middle. I wosuld run LR towers on the outside of both of them.
Steve nice video. Does the device require a power source?
I've connectwd adapter optical to my speakers and the sound is too low not qorking properly hope you can help me
Thank you bro ❤
Thank you bro ❤
i’m using arc on my lg c4, and with loud sources it’s distorted at all volumes. it sucks because it works with my lg remote so I only need one remote
I plugged optical to the converter and lg tv, and rca from the converter to trs for speaker but I’m just getting static noise. Does trs not work? It’s a auxiliary with a trs adapter on top plugged into the speaker
