My secondary monitor won't display using HDMI connected to the hub, then to my acer predator laptop. Everything else works but not my monitor and it's a nice new acer monitor.
I am sorry but the title is misleading. It saids "HDMI to USB-C…." and that is not right. It should be "USB-C Hub to HDMI….". BIG Difference! A part of that, nice video!
Have you tried connecting the usb-c port from this hub to a portable monitor instead of directly from the from a laptop usb-c port? Will it work?

Very helpful video! Quick question for Samsung Dex, Is a power adapter really needed to avoid battery discharge from your Samsung device? This is going to be helpful for me specially that I use my old Galaxy phone to have my family watch on an old Smart TV for Disney+. I currently have it plugged with a Type C adapter to HDMI but it keeps on draining power that I had to use a wireless charger. But I found it to be inconvenient too. Hope to see your response before I buy the hub.
This hub started flickering my output on the tv after a few months. I thought it was good quality but I have to wobble to cable and leave my phone planted correctly for it to work. I'd say this hub is a waste of money, especially since it's expensive.

That is not correct.
The Samsung galaxy a90 5g model has DEX integrated into it. I have this model so I can verify this as true.
