Great video thanks for sharing. The 50 inch version of this pioneer is on sale today for $200 bucks I'm going to get it for my mother in law who is using a tv from like 2010 so I'm sure this will be a major upgrade.
Just got this from Best Buy and the back panel has their logo on it. It was manufactured in April 2023 even though this is a "2021" model…thats weird. It was a nice upgrade from a Vizio E43 2018. For $159 prime day deal. Was pleasantly surprised. Your video helped me pull the trigger.
Curious how this compares to the 2023 Toshiba C350 you tested recently. Hisense vs. TCL is the Samsung vs. LG of the lower-end brands – Toshiba is made by Hisense, and Pioneer is made by TCL, so it's a good comparison. Really enjoy your reviews, btw!
This TV is on currently sale for $169. This is the least expensive 43” 4K TV to support Dolby Vision HDR. I need a new TV for my bedroom to replace my 2010-era 32” 720p TV, and this Pioneer fits the bill for me. I’ll use your affiliate link too, you did a great job putting together this video and showcasing the TVs functionality 🙂
I have this tv but I can’t get it to show 4K? I confirmed with my internet provider that I’ve got the best and fastest internet I can buy so I’m not sure what to do to get it to stream in 4K on Disney plus, Netflix, etc.
That’s the Pioneer I knew! Never cut corner with quality! Too bad it is too thick (bottom) for wall mounting or I’ll snatch it in a second for my daughter’s room! I wonder if this is a market test before more TVs come out by Pioneer 🤞
hey Steve, I bought this tv because of your videos and we love it, so thank you! love it so much we want another pioneer but in 65" is the Pioneer LED 4K UHD Smart Xumo an upgrade from this one or are they pretty much same thing? what are your thoughts? thanks again!
Best Buy has the 50 inch for $199. I ordered one today.. Another channel says it's a junk TV though so I don't know.. I bought it because it was big and cheap
the fact Pioneer let that once great name, first of its name in house of Kuro, god how the once mighty have fallen, Kuro = pure black. back in the plasma days, they started out at $9,999 for 48" and went up to $12,5 for a 65". They were stunning and if you can still find one without burns still are.
Hi Steve, great review. I'm looking at this pioneer which is now $169 on Best buy versus the Hisense A7 which they have on sale for $199. What's your thoughts on these two televisions? I'm leaning towards the Hisense because I'm mainly a Google guy, but this TV is mostly going to be used by my wife in the living room and she won't take advantage of many of the smart TV options. This looks like a heck of a TV though based on your review, but you're right, there is not a lot of information on it. Thoughts on this decision?

Great review man. Thanks!
Viewing angles on mine are really bad. The color gets grayish quick unless im right infront of the tv.
Bought this for my home gym. Was considering buying another for my daughters bedroom.
