Just got the 43” and I love it. You have to go in tweak the picture settings, but once you get it dialed in, it is quite decent. I’m coming from a 40” Sony 1080p TV, and the fire tv looks amazing. I’m using it in a small bedroom. Good tv with a great user experience and sharp picture with rich colors and accurate skin tones, once you tweak it beyond the standard settings. Sound is decent too. I’m pleased.
amazon tvs are absolute trash ive returned multiple tvs and its the same issue with them all terrible graphics nothing but busted pixels and blown out speakers right out of fresh packaging
Bought the 55” Amazon fire Omni tv and I did find it lacking against the LG and Samsung. I was replacing my old 2015 5 series Samsung with this Amazon fire tv and the 4K picture is better but no matter what I did, could never adjust the Amazon tv to be as bright or good at colors as my several year old Tv. HD quality and colors did also diminish if you took a few steps left or right if the screen. If you watch from anything than head on, it kinda loses it’s quality…. In a bright room with sunlight this Amazon just could t get bright enough… my Samsung stays very bright unlike the Amazon tv. Not sure if there is some hidden eco mode or auto darkening system that can’t be turned off on the Amazon tv bit I tried everything to keep it bright whether it was in a dark room or bright room.
I bought a 65 inch Sony 5 years ago and spent "sony" dollars for it. The picture quality is good but the implementation of Android as the operating system was not a good match. I ordered a 55 inch version of the Omni today for $369. I think that I will be satisfied. I am deeply in the fire ecosystem. Thanks for the review.

Got my 65 delivered the other day and great tv. I can't get my harmony remote to find it and can't get an arc connection with my Onkyo 787 receiver. Bit frustrating but every thing else is great and was a suprising upgrade from my sharp roku
I just saw today that the 50" Omni is on sale for $429 Canadian (plus tax) here in April of 2022 which looks like a fantastic deal and would be great for replacing the 10+ year old TV that I have in the spare room that has two blown HDMI ports and suffers from DSE. But after seeing this review and a couple of other reviews, I'll see what their 2022 models will have when they come out.
You weren't in game mode. The TV did not automatically switch (or at least on mine, it doesn't always do so automatically). My lag was 11.0 in Game Mode. Perhaps this could be due to unit variation, but unlikely as someone else had the same issue and once in game mode lag time dropped. PC Mode was bad though with a lag time of around 33, and it cannot be used for PC gaming unless placed in Game Mode.
Funny because when I bought a 55" omni series the audio wouldn't sync, customer service said it wasn't their brand and had to get it replaced by OMNI TV.
Omni TV is a Canadian broadcasting company. Has nothing to do with manufacturing TV's.
The OMNI is only the name Amazon gave this model TV.

It's only when I wrote a review documenting how Kafkaesque and stupid Amazon was that they offered to replace it.
Full price… nope, but as of may 5th Best buy is selling Omni 65' for $499. (or Amazon which is how I seen it).
and currently the samsung 65 TU700D being sold for $549 at Costco.
This won't be the "main gaming TV" (thats my Hisense u6g 55 lol).. it will be meant for a general use family room TV… maybe backup nintendo switch gaming).

For TV enthusiasts, this TV is generally considered average to subpar. If you haven't bought a new TV in ten years, give or take, then this TV will look amazing to you.

How do I connect my cable to this TV besides having to go out of the main screen and go to settings and select input and then HDMI one and even then I can't use the fire remote for the channels and I can't use the TV Remote for the volume

Great video, FYI sounds like you did not have the TV in GAME MODE. Rtings says this TV has a 10.7 ms input lag in Game mode which is fantastic for gaming.

This'll most likely just be a second screen for my computer I use in my room for multitasking as I have a Samsung Q80A as my daily bedroom tv.
And Amazon is offering me a exclusive deal. $300 for a 55 inch is something I can't pass away.
