Great review! You get right to the point which I appreciate. From quick unboxing down to setup. This is how it should be done. Too many reviews drag. Only issue I found is my Echo Dot Spot screen was very dim during the initial setup. I had a really tough time reading the text. After everything was setup I was finally able to adjust the brightness via the Display configuration screen. I wish the screen was brighter from the factory. Some people might not even be able to configure it – that's how dim it was!
Anyone know how to have Alexa set the brightness via voice command? When I ask, she asks; "What device". I am wanting to set it's own brightness rather than manually doing it. In other words, the actual alexa echo spot. Not telling her to set the brightness to something else. Amazing I cannot find this answer anywhere online. Such as, "Alexa, set your own brightness to …". Nothing I've tried works.
Could we setup Alexa spot without the app? I got beta version of the app, and it doesn't have Alexa spot on the device list. (I'm not yet buy the device, because it's actually not availble in my country. So i'm testing the app first, to make sure it's work)

I even tried holding down the mute and volume down buttons for 20 seconds. I tried plugging it into many different outlets which all power other objects with no issue. Not sure what else to do. It makes no noise, no lights, nothing. Doesn't turn on at all.
Correct vocabulary would have been when DO not DOES in that context but if you'd asked, "When does the Dallas Cowboys next game occur?" would have been good vocabulary.
