Is there any speaker system, soundbar, etc. that can be connected to the tv and be operated just like an extension of the tv, as in not having to have a seperate remote to power on and control volume? It's an extra hassle, and I'm just trying to slightly upgrade the stock tv speakers.

I bought this for my Vizio MQ8, I didn't want big subwoofer, because I live in an apartment and don't want complaints. I still wanted good sound quality, found this on sale and couldn't be happier
My Macbook is connecting but I can't get anything to play on the soundbar from it. It works from my iPhone and the TV and all accessories just not from my MacBook and I can't figure out why. Ive tried resetting the soundbar and Bluetooth reconnect and it still won't play from MacBook
Hey Mr. Steve! I have been unable to get ahold to Vizio tech support. I have been trying to set the soundbar(SB2020n-J6) up for a bit now. I still can't get it to set up! A optical cable was not in package, only Audio/AUX cable..
I have tried vizeos, user manual, going to the site, and more! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Only problem I have had is that I have to wake the thing up. Usually this means moving the volume up about 3 bumps on my TV (AppleTV) remote. It is the same way on the Vizio TV remote as well. I would LOVE to find a way so I did not have to "wake" the thing up. Anyone else having this issue? When I say "wake", I mean there is no sound until I do the bump. Then I put it back to the level I want. TIA
I just got this and I'm still not sure on the bass/treble controls. I hit bass, then the + sign, but I'm not sure anything is happening. I've tried holding the bass button while clicking + but still can't really tell. Am I doing it wrong? 🙂
I bought this bar and in my opinion it is very good but recently I bought a subwoofer of the same Vizio brand but I don't know how to connect it, could you help me please?
I’ve had this sound at for about a year now and for being less than $100, it’s been incredible. The volume equalizer works very well, much better than one on my tv. The dynamic range is also quite good for the price. Like you said, this is perfect for small spaces.

would this fix the low vocal or the background sound of the movie suddenly turned up to 100x volume 😊.
The bass on mine is perfect. Usually I need a subwoofer, but with this one I don’t. For $68, well worth it all.

Vizio is a beast brand. Best TVs and great sound equipment. This is the best quality soundbar for the price in my opinion.
