Hi, wondering if you can advise me on this Soundbar. I bought it as a gift and sadly the person I bought it for passed. I was given this back by his family, still in the box. I have a need for a speaker to use with a microphone for group meetings. Is it possible to use this with a wireless microphone set up? Thanks in advance!
I just bought the SP2 and hooked it on with the HDMI and no sound? Im not tech sabby but i thought that was pretty straightforward. Am i doing something wrong?? Help plz
I have owned this soundbar for 3 years and it is excellent for our listening pleasure. The Firestick 4K works very well with the soundbar – powers off and on with no issues. We have used this soundbar with 3 actual LG tv's and they would not power off the soundbar completely however after 5 minutes of no activity the soundbar does power down. Current LG tv has magic remote.
This is not a easy to set up sound bar. I have new LG TV and this sound bar should be working in roughly 5-10 minutes. It is junk straight out of the box no matter who's video you watch.

The Bluetooth is not secured in this soud bar. Any one can access even if the led is white by connecting to it, it turns to blue ! That's why it's cheap !
LG is a terrible brand. They don’t even have user manuals for their products. They rely on their customers to solve all their problems in forums. It’s lazy and cheap. I will never purchase LG again.
Just bought one and tried it on my LG tv. Very easy to set up (with optical my case) took me less than 10 minutes to unbox and set it up. Bass is very very poor, sound quality was almost the same as my internal tv speakers except it came from the front of the tv! I returned it the same day and bought a Creative stage V2 2.1. For about $40.00 more (in my case), you get way better sound, sub whoofer with decent bass, much more connectivity options, and a very good dialog option button. For the money I’m more than satisfied! Very good review well done my friend!
I bought a Vizio sound bar about a year ago and went out. It sounded wonderful. I wanted to try another one hoping it would last longer. It was my mistake. Vizio sound bar only $90.00. It blows me away. I had a $1,300.00 sound system but this Vizio sound bar sounds better. I not lying. The Vizio has very deep bass and highs. I don't know how but the sounds come sides and back! I am going to throw this lg away and buy a Vizio sound bar again!
I have the soundbar connected to my computer via Bluetooth. But it keeps powering off after 10 minutes I don't have any sound playing. Is there a way to bypass this shutdown feature so I don't have to turn it on again with my remote control?
I have a Vizio trapezoid shaped sound bar, and it has very very deep bass to the point where it’s almost hard to use it in the morning and nighttime. I also have an onn sound bar, which is very cheap and it’s easier to use because it has less bass. I hope this thing is like in between the Vizio and onn because I might get this one day.
Dude, you forgot to compare with/without, as I thought you said you were going to do,, well you did, but didnt label when you had the sound bar on.. AND when you compare to the TV speakers (only) You should have remove the sound bar as it looks like it would be blocking the speaker proection/sound
Decent sound, but Bass Blast button does absolutely nothing and it has no "Equalizer Modes" (ie. Movie, Music, Speech, Cinema etc).Can't complain since I got it on clearance at Wal-Mart, but definitely not worth full price.
Doing the audio test just watching a photo of my soundbar while my soundbar is putting out the music was a wholistic experience. Thanks for the vid. mainly commenting because it helped.

When you press the standard button for it to turn on and off with the tv, does the volume control work with the tv remote ?
