Hi, I’m having a problem with the install. I have an old Panasonic receiver that has optical and RCA. I have a new TCL TV. I tired using a adapter using a converter going through the ARC HDMI to RCA, Didn’t work. Tried just using optical from tv to receiver, that also didn’t work. I’m so confused. Any suggestions?
Our Roku TCL tv doesn't have the Optical output but does the HDMI ARC. We used the HDMI cable but in the audio setting on the TV there is no option for HDMI…its says "auto" no other option for HDMI or Headphones. Is our TV too old?

So you need to have a “Roku TV” for this to work? Like a streaming stick wouldn’t work with this
I get the soundbar. How do you connect the two speakers that come with the sound bar. That’s my issue.
Pro tip: Make sure the HDMI cable is properly plugged in. I had no audio and it wasn’t fully inserted lol.
