Love this price but UN 8 has way more dimming. Question is shouldn’t I just get Samsung sd90 over UN 8 since price about the same? I’m a console / pc gamer mostly and watch YouTube or old tv shows like the office or king of queens
Just about to drop $898 for a 55" TV for the parents, both are the same price at Costco but what's better, the 'Sony Bravia 3' (which you have a great video on) or this 'Hisense U7N' (watching your video now)? Thanks for helping us navigate through all this stuff.
Thanks for the review, but one important note: it is best to test inpug lag on action games like PUBG, with a laptop connected via HDMI and video recording of mouse movement and the TV and laptop screens at the same time.

Need help. I just got this tv, currently trying to play red dead redemption 2 and for some reason I’m getting poor visual. Especially on the bottom of tv and around my character. Not smooth at all. Currently playing on my PS5

I am more confused than ever and I'm hoping somebody can help me out with this. I have seen nothing but rave reviews across the board for Hisense televisions in particularly this one. As well as other brands that are about neck-and-neck with Hisense. I keep reading about how this particular brand is incredibly unreliable. I'm wondering why nobody ever says anything about this. I actually owned an entry-level Hisense that actually had local dimming. What I referred to as a poor man's version of local dimming because it was absolutely dreadful and so bad in fact that it hardly worked at all and I had no choice but to leave it off when it comes to local dimming. It really was dreadful. It was a TV I bought for my parents. Another thing is the color accuracy was poor and way off. And everything pushed too far into almost emerald green or reds were more orange. Anyway I did not like that TV at all. But reviewers across the board keep saying these Hisense TVs are rating way up there and I'm wondering a few things. Is this TV actually reliable? How is it with processing? I bought a TCL recently and returned it because DVDs and blu-rays look absolutely terrible and you had to adjust the screen settings so that it looked more like soap opera effect to get rid of all of the digital noise, Judder and so forth. My Vizio which I've had for 7 years is dying and had no issues till now. But as far as DVD and Blu-ray it presented this material clearly and smoothly without any SOE effect or even a setting for it. So how does this TV do with processing DVD and Blu-ray? Do you have to smooth out artifacts so that it almost looks like SOE? I would really love some feedback on whether or not Hisense is reliable. I returned a TCL because I had it 3 days and it developed three different problems so I will never trust them again. Anyway any responses whatsoever would be nice about this television.
Bought the 65U7N last night for $680, set to arrive on the 31st.
I am getting rid of the 65U6HF that I am currently using, as my mother recommended that I sell it. While I did kind of like Fire TV, and after actually trying all the TV operating systems like Roku TV, LG’s webOS, and Samsung's Tizen OS, I still like Google TV the best.
I have this TV and I am looking for suggestions on a sound bar. Will a budget $100 sound bar be better that the TV audio? What sound bar would you recommend?
On my PS5 Slim, I’m still only getting 60Hz, plus I put the HDMI 2.1 cable into HDMI 4, set that to Enhanced, and for some reason there is no way to enable VRR.
