I'm loving these new TV gadget reviews, Steve. It's very informative and I really like that you pick out affordable ones that won't put a hole in our pockets.
Hope you could find a good HDMI 4K upscaler to review — there seems to be a need for this in the Nintendo Switch community since Nintendo can't be bothered to put out a 4K model soon.
Thanks, great video as always, Steve! 💯
Does this work on xbox one x
That does not make any sense. The monitor will only display at its max refresh rate. A 60hz cannot display 120hz.
Hi Steve, I'm from Mexico, what TV do you recommend, which has HDMI 2.1, taking into account cost / benefit, I'm looking for some not-so-expensive option, thanks for your videos.
nice dude
I really want to know if this works for the sony 900f tv. The panel is 120hz and allows 120hz on pc using a forced resolution but since its not in the tv’s edid it only does 4k60. I really wanna do 1080p/120 on my ps5 🙁
Hola XBox serie s?
Can u used the emulator on a 4k tv?
🤔 might be something to get and test a few things on.
Does this work on ps5 I have a 1080p smart tv
Can I use this on a pc ?
does this still work in 2022?
4:30 videos on youtube are 60 frames max so without playing in slowmo theres no way to show a difference….
Thanks for the video. Can a switcher do the same thing?
so if i have α series x and i have α 60hz monitor i can get 120hz / fps if i buy this?
60fps and 120fps will look the same when you render the video out at 60fps…
I bought one of these and used it for my PC. It has Interlaced. Interlaced is the old school method to broadcast video. From doing a bit of YouTube research. All the videos I watched said Interlaced saves bandwidth. PC gaming with 60hz Interlaced feels quicker for me. Even tho it's not but my brain still feels like it's quicker then original 60hz. I like old school Interlaced. It also improved online gaming with parsec application. People ask how did I run the game so perfect with no lag. The less bandwidth myth is true. Interlaced is very underated. It's not 100 percent pure frames but it reduces alot of bandwidth for less lag.
Hi, i have a Lenovo 24" 100hz 1440p monitor on xbox which stucks at 60hz but works at 100hz when connected on pc. Could someone tell what will happen if i use one of these adapters? Could i play 100hz on 1440p? Maybe via using the variable refresh rate on xbox options? Thanks.
I’m on a 240 hz monitor but the Xbox doesn’t recognize it. Do you think this will solve my problem?
does it support vrr?
If my monitors 1080p do I buy the 1080p one, I bought the 4k one and it just says hdmi out of range
I have a question about these EDID emulators: "If I have a certain Retro Video Game Console Upscaler (that is DIY'd or prebuilt) like a GBS Control device, or an expensive quality one like a RetroTINK 5X and it produces a bad overscan or underscan forcing a 4:3 aspect ratio instead of allowing 16:9 for consoles native to 16:9, and if I would have to fix the screen by adjusting the picture overscan on my TV, would an EDID emulator also copy the overscanned picture to use for other sources, or no?"
hey mate, i dont get any video signal when I put it though the EDED Emulator. Any idea what could be the issue?
I have a question, if I have a 100Hz monitor, but when I put my Xbox Series S on 120Hz it doesn't give me an image. If I do this, would it work but would it only show me the 100Hz of my monitor or would it still not give me an image?
Can it enable vrr on ps5
You cant get 120hz if your TV/monitor can only output 60hz
