Hey guys, so I bought the tlc 55 qled google tv. I accidentally press the screen with my finger in the bottom part where the tlc logo is located, i noticed that you can press the bottom part but not the sides or top. Is thst normal?
I’m wondering if you could help, I’m looking at this tv in 65 inch, my GF is looking at the Amazon Omni Fire tv in the same size. Is the picture with the TCL equal, or better than the Amazon unit?
I love my 6 series ! But why would you build such a great tv and send one of the sorriest POS remotes ever made with such a great product ! GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER TCL !
Have you confirmed it has eARC and not just ARC? I see it shows eARC in the input notification, but as you've noticed as well HDMI 4 is just labelled ARC.
About to snag this on offer up for $300, regardless of the imperfections it may come with its definitely an upgrade from this 40" Sylvania tv my dad bought in 2014 I'm sure it's 1080 I can literally see the tiny squares haha thumbed up and liked, will be buying an oled in the future after I watch all ur tv reviews
My TCL S535 Roku is great overall but there is one nagging feature that I would like help with. RED COLORS show as hot pink, so Netflix and you tube logos, part of Spiderman's suit, etc. I used the settings from Digital TRends, did I just get a bad panel, is this a quality control issue?
This is not a great TV for Playstation 5 or Xbox Series X. It doesn't have HDMI 2.1, so you won't get to experience the 120 frames per second. HDR mode SUCKS during gaming. Screen is too damn dim when HDR is enabled. I had to switch from HDMI 2.0 back to HDMI 1.4 to avoid the HDR dimming during gaming.
why sometimes when watching movies the image is jittery, I'm using ps5. maybe the TV is not able to keep up with ps5, or certain settings have to be changed. ???
Ive got one, its awsome and now that XFINITY has 4K programs (you need a special 4k wifi reciever) you can watch movies and what ever in 4k, its is as realistic as a movie theatre
I'm confused by your commentary on FALD. FALD is a very good thing for LCDs, not a bad thing. The only TVs that are going to compare favorably to good FALD LCDs are OLEDs.
Long time owners: how has this TV held up over time for you? I see Walmart has their exclusive model (S531) 65" for $398. Only difference with their model is the inclusion of the voice remote.
I thought my TU7000 had HDR10 and Dolby Vision, sure the LG UBK80 4k blu-ray player and discs look great but I guess I'm missing out on so much by not having a TV with dolby vision. is this TV and upgrade from the Tu7000? what are your thoughts Mr Tech Steve? thanks, : )

Would you recommend this tv or the Samsung au8000
It doesn’t recognize Dolby vision it’s a pain only hdr is recognized

Let's be real. My eyes are likely far worse than the TV display.

Hopefully Alexa is not on by default. I am planning to purchase a Roku TV today before sale ends. I would like to disable Alexa if it is on the tv.

Bought the 50” for my bedroom back in 21. Just now got around to hooking it up lol. Need to splurge on a 4k player tho
1:36 $21 a day to run it, so £100 for 5 days to watch tv. That can't right.
My TCL 50S535 will NOT decode or pass through Dolby Digital or DTS through eARC or optical. It down converts everything to Dolby Pro Logic.
