So in ur video Samsung vs Sony, u said the Samsung AU8000 u can’t turn the brightness down or up. But I thought all TVs have that setting where u can tone down the colors or brightness, no?
@techsteve You have really good content sir! Keep up the good work! Just a verification. I do not believe this is a MINILED TV. It is just apart of the QNED line up. On Lg’s website it is for sure listed as edge lit as you mentioned. Just to bring awareness A TV cannot be a MINILED Tv without using backlighting technology with a full array LED alinement pattern or some sort of zone based LED algorithm controlled directly behind the entire panel of the TV set.

Looking to upgrade before Thanksgiving to watch the 2022 Qatar World Cup ⚽️. Just went to Best Buy to view the TV and it looks great. Love the fact that it ha s Sports mode. I have a Sony X95J in another room. It’s great for movies, streaming and stuff, BUT not that good for Sports. I think Samsung and LG are better for viewing sports. Can’t beat the price. I think LG gonna sell ton of these. Great video!

This is not a QNED MiniLED model, QNED80 is EdgeLED. This should be a successor to the 50nano863 (VA, Edge, 120Hz).
