greetings everyone, I have a dell optiplex 580 in our house, it does not have a graphics card in it. I just bought the game Just Cause 2 from Steam but it lags. I want to play it with decent FPS. but I don't know what graphics card should I buy for my optiplex 580, I want to learn building my own Gaming PC and this is where I start. it has AMD Athlon II X2 B22 2.80Ghz and 4GB ddr3 ram. I need help to choose what Graphics card I should buy. your response will be appreciated by a learning beginner like me.

My hard drive overheats to 50 degrees to 52 degrees..Crystal Disk Info beeps me to it.. then I have to stop working and activities. Hard drive 3 uncorrectable sector count and 4 current pending sector count.. Does that really mean that I have to change the hard drive? or just install a second one? I will just buy a second drive and if one fails I will still have the other. right? I have 6 GB ram, 320 gb on hard drive, processor is E8400 3.0 Ghz
Hello I currently have a dell optiplex 755 with a 80gb hard drive. I want to upgrade this and I am looking for a cheap 250gb hard drive that I can upgrade it with. Could you please send me a link to get this. Also I wanted to know could I also keep the 80gb hard drive as a second drive and get maybe another 2.5 hard drive like u mentioned and how I would do that and if you could also get me the link for that kind of smaller hard drive?

Thank you for showing me where the harddrive component is. Hard to believe its just below the DVD/Blu Ray components. Was thinking it was probably on the back around the motherboard. Also, what is behind the hard drive then? That box with DELL sticker on, what exactly is that for the PC?
Sir,I have the same CPU , my problem is that when everytime I start my CPU it shows error of " Alert, error intialliging pci express slot 4". But all my PCI slots are empty. Please Sir, help me to get the solution for this.

I will be fitting a 2nd HDD to mine soon, run out of diskspace.I brought an external drive but it keeps getting an I/O error when it's got a bit of data on it, so I will assume externals are all crap.Better just fit a second internal, should be easy enough.
I tried this, just popped it out because my Hard Drive which has my opearating system installed (Windows 10) already to go, is only 80Gb, so relativey small, so I just left it AS IS and installed an external HardDrive, of 500Gb Capacity, cheap enough off EBAY.I also have an 2.5 inch external drive so I have PLENTY of Storage NOW. Already done the RAM, So All that I have to do to my DELL OPTIPLEX NOW is Install a GRAPHICS CARD of EBAY, maybe even Banggood.com.GOOD STUFF!!!*? 😉

Hi Steve just curious. I have the same type of computer that is in this video. I have a hard drive that has programs I can not find anymore. Is there a way to add bigger size hard drive and switch over my programs that I have now? Thanks for any help here.
I have inserted a 1TB(empty, no data store on it{SATA-1}) on my 780 which is the exact same one as yours but afterwards it says it unsupported memory configuration. Please populate DIMM1. 160GB (SATA-0)
