what if you have no smartphone or wifi? My elderly neighbour only wants to watch TV. She doesnt have smartphone or internet. Plugged it in and connected an hdmi cable to a box. when we turn TV on we only get a QR code appera and its asking for it to be scanned with a smartphone
Advice mate. Include visual of the remote in the future. The reason being. I physically can't get my remote to do anything but access the accessibility options and turn on the tv. And I have no idea how the click wheel isn't navigating the user interface
Drives me crazy!!! Not you, but Samsung. How the heck do you choose between "Smartphone" and "Remote Control" – what buttons will allow you to choose one or the other. I've tried every button on my remote and cannot move it from "Smartphone".
How did you select Smartphone or Remote Control option? Which button did you press on the Smart remote? I got a new TV but could not select. Do I have to charge the remote first?
I only made it as far as hold the volume button to choose …. nothing, holding the volume does nothing and it is stuck at choosing smartphone or remote.

It worked well for 6 weeks and I have been having trouble ever since. I purchased the TV at Best Buy, I can’t believe I brought home a lemon TV! I thought Samsung was a good brand TV. Can someone help me? I’m tired of having to get up to turn TV off and on manually. I cannot get into settings, or use any functions on the remote. I’ve tried everything that I found in you tube without success.

This is a frustrating system, I did everything until the sign into Samsung account I tried using my gmail and Hotmail and didn’t work.. I made a new Samsung account and it said my postal code is not valid.. I can’t make an account help me.
