I thought this was an amazing projector, what's your thoughts?

9:47 Using an ALR with this projector is a NO NO. The Laser Speckle was really noticeable when you were showing gaming. I could clearly see it on my TV.
Can't wait to get my hands on this real soon 🔥
How do you go about when connecting a console to hdmi 3 for the 4K/120hz output and connect a soundbar at the same time?
The gaming didn’t look too convincing
Doesn’t look all that great to be honest 🤷♂️
Sounds good
I'm interested in the AI 4K upscaling. How convincing is it? It looks good on the video. There are so many good titles that unfortunately currently only has DVD. When projected on a 120" screem 480p just looks awful. All current 4K upscale just makes the video more pixelated.
So wondsr how did the AI rendering do? Does it make it look like at least 1080p?
The daylight screen looks pretty washed out. I am surprised. Is it fresnel?
Good collection of footage, thanks for sharing.
Better to use white screens with laser projectors as light rejecting screens get laser speckles
120hz 4k is not possible with the DLP chip it is using. It drops every other frame, no? Android 14 is the latest, not android 12
If the max is worth owning I will use it for my home theater projector
Wow! This brings a new dimension to "home theatre." This thing is impressive. Thanks for sharing, Steve
Hey Steve. you mentioned that you created a 100' image from a projected distance of 14 feet. My calculation for that distance creates a160" 16:9 image for a 1.2.1 fixed. I hope you are correct because that is the exact distance I am working with and I have a 106" screen. Are the capabilities of projector lens to create a certain diagonal size standard over a given range. I hope that makes some sense.
Hello sir iam your Indian subscriber
Hdr mode is terrible dark. Better Sdr mode.
Exellent review my man! Loved the video, subbed.
Throw ratio is 1.2:1. So 14 feet is too far for 100 inches. Maybe digital Zoom confused you. Also projectors don’t have viewing angles only ALR screens do. Better do your homework next time, why confuse viewers.
Great video, compliments and thank you very much for that.
I'm also interested in the Visionmaster Max.
Perhaps you can help me with 2 questions: I'm planning a cinema room. The room is 4.75 (15,6 feet)meters long. However, there is a sloping roof at the back.
I can either place the projector directly under the sloping roof, then it would be about 4 (13 feet) meters away from the screen (measured from the lens).
Or I can place it on the ceiling (if that's possible), then it would only be about 3 (9,8 feet) meters away from the screen.
Here's my question: how big can the image be at a maximum distance of 4 meters?
And how big at a distance of 3 meters?
The room is 3.65 (12 feet)meters wide, so I'd like 120-135 inches. Is that possible?
And would you use a gray screen for a dedicated cinema room, or a gray one? I thought that in a dark room a white screen always produces the best image.
Did you actually place your speakers behind the screen or to the side?
Thank you in advance.
How loud is the fan at max power? Ty
This projector looks amazing and you can’t be the price.
Hey Steve, are you going to review the Panasonic W95A? Hope so. Love your reviews
GREAT review Steve! If I ever do build a Home Theater, think this is the projector I'll get. Love that it has "inky" black's and 4K DV support. Is it meant to be portable (with that case)? Great review as always!
Please review Sony Bravia 7 55 inch gaming and futures please love your video..?
4k is only up to 60 Hz
Very good review. Thanks.
I've watched a few reviews and maybe its the camera, but it feels like the contrast isnt too good on the highlights and darkest shadows, like its crushing them a bit. Also, the image seems a bit softer in comparison to the sharpness of the Hisense C1.
I'd have to see it in person.
how is the fresnel screen compared to the cinematic screen when lights are off?
the daylight screen is for UST? How would that even work?
I have a BenQ HT5550, and I do not know how the specs relate and which matters more. Would the PRO 2 be a significant difference/upgrade? I mean from looking at HT5550 or W5700 it says 100,000:1 Contrast with brightness of 1800 lumens. But it's also a pixel shift 4k, so not native. Please advise.
How do i go about purchasing one? kickstarter says rewards are not guaranteed???!!
The projector sounds nice, but you didn't mention if it has 3D and how good it is ❓🤔
so does it have full netflix
Is it worth paying more for the Epson LS11000 or LS1200?
How does it compare to the AWOL 2500 ?
i hope any youtuber that bought this beast will FINALLY show a video of how big the 300 inch is idc wether its on a wall outside or anything i just wanna see how HARD the 300 inch goes
What is the price only thing you didn't cover Steve.
How would you describe the fans? Are they noisy?
How to buy this product from that site? It says about pledging. I don't understand their process of selling ? How to buy it from that site?
Hi Steve, can you sale me this review unit😊
I purchased an Aldp laser projector . But I have to say a projector with tripple led produce accurate colour than a single aldp laser. But valerion comes with tripple laser and better colour spectrum coverage. It is going to be a 'bomb'
5 models not 4 and ALR are not always going to give you the best pictures especially with regular throw laser projectors. Might mention to people that an alr screen for an UST projector may make your picture worse causing severe laser speckle. There are alr screens designed more for standard throw projectors
