When I film with the sound on (auto mode) and the Rode Video Mic Pro is
plugged in, but turned OFF, I get a very bad hissing sound. How is this
even possible? There is no sound recorded, like voices etc, (obviously
because the Rode is turned off) but there is still the anoying hissing
sound. What causes this? Thank you.
when you say the sound quality is lowered when you lower the camera's level and put plus 20 db. Do you mean it's good sound rather than great sound?
Nice video! I hv the same mic. What do you think are the best settings for filming car videos?
Thank you, very helpful.
Wow. This is not a Good Video, It's one of the best REVIEWS I ever seen. Very intuitive. The test with the Music and you speaking was AMAZING! When I heard that music and you pointed the music right towards the mic, I said to myself. I am NEVER going to hear him clear now. BUT I WAS WRONG! Totally Amazing. Do you have this same kind of Review with the Canon R800? In the beginning it sound like your room has echoes from the walls. You think if you hang a bed sheet in those area's it would take that away?
The best video about this mic i've watched
