Great video. I have the 55 u8k and i just use vivid mode right out of the box and turn off the motion smoothing. I see no reason to change it. I also despise hdr. Compare vivid sdr to hdr and vivid wins every time

Hey 👋🏾, I was wondering how to get ( 16:9 Nonlinear ) on my u65 UK model , because there is not an option i can see and it’s driving me crazy as I know it somehow can be done, like on kodi-player you can switch to ( 16:9 Nonlinear ) which automatically changes the playback to stretch “16:9 nonlinear “ I have been emailing Hisense TV department but they don’t have a clue ! I hope you have a answer for me please, many thanks.
Just found your channel love these reviews been watching them for last few hours. I have a question for you if you don't mind answering for the 10000th time lol. I am very sensitive to motion stutter/judder esp when camera shots are slow panning. I haven't found any TVs capable of smooth motion without intense soap opera effect. In your expertise which TV is the best for motion? I am hearing Valerion VisionMaster "projector" or something like LG G4 or even the LED Sony x90L but would love your feedback since you are an expert in this field! Thank you!
Once again Steve your video rock! I NEED TO know Hisense external HDD limitations, what size is the max? LG I can use 16 TB at least but need to know for Hisense before purchase
Thank you Steve. This may be a stupid question, but you move from filmmaker mode to HDR mode, how do i get to that? If I program Filmaker mode to these settings and apply it to All Sources, would I need to change that too? Where would i find the HDR picture settings? Or since i applied these settings to all sources, should i be set? Thank you for your help.
Hi Steve. I have the 75U8K. Was just curious. Why was it Warm2 instead of Warm1? Heard Warm1 was the most accurate out of the box and Warm2 was the one out of wack. Would think a start to the calibration would be the warm1. Might have less of the -B gain since warm2 was actually more blue to start.
Btw am actually getting mine replaced with Hisense. For some reason there are 11 small half circles/spots on the bottom edge. Looks like the edge of the panel is just going around screw holes or something. They are all same distance from each other etc. I can actually use the fire stick screen calibration and just one tap to bring the arrows on the screen in makes them go away. ever run into this with any TV?

You have any insight on Dolby Vision and HDR-10+?? Or do those not need any calibration?
