He is so correct. And hardly any reviewers mention this. Sony’s Vivid mode is so far ahead and brilliant. I would never ever watch vivid mode in any other TV brand. Detailed are much more intelligently enhanced then any other picture mode on Sony. And colors are cleared and skin tones look beautiful for any standard cable content. It’s like it was retouched and released again by makers. This happens in all real time. Sony just doesn’t no brighten colors. Sony TV clears up colors and enhance only certain important ones. For standard content its like regular 720p to clear Blu-ray quality. Unlike now a days with artificial intelligence just enhancing and over sharpening everything, Sony has his own system for years which knows where the makers were focusing. It’s amazing. Also, I have least expensive over sized and at least 3 yrs old Sony TV. And it works wonder and everyday i am sitting stunned. That’s other thing unless i change Picture mode, i am always thinking its being broadcast this clear. It’s actually the TV which is clearing and enhancing any content making everyone look beautiful and scenery stunning on any content. That’s engineering and not just nasty software AI enhancing.
I just bought the 65inch version for myself as I’m in the uk did you change many settings and what’s the best picture mode to use
So many dollars😮
Great videos and the info is very helpful thks
How are those side viewing angles? 🤭
EXCELLENT REVIEW SIR
Just received my x95L but mine seems grainy/blurry even on the apps any idea what could be the issue
put this up against the tcl and the u8k
How does it compare with the Sony X95k tV thanks
Yeah, this is a beast – the contrast measurements on Rtings are crazy for a LED (200,000) and it has 70 degrees for black level raise unlike the 30 degrees for the X93L. It's at the point that it's indistinguishable from OLED even in complete darkness.
It also has XR Clear which I believe supersamples the image to 3x over 4k. I noticed I could see the mascara on the skin tones which I have never seen on any other TV. It's really hard to see make-up – this is the 1st time I've seen it and I'm not even looking at the actual TV.
Sony should have ditched the X93L and offered this in 65 and 75 inches.
hey, would you recommend this x95l 85“ or lg g2 83“?
can get both at roughly same price. thanks
I like your style. Some presentations on YT may contain useful information, but are really annoying. Best of luck with your channel.
I am envious about your local climate (in SD).
oh no, watch out now! The "true" TV youtubers are gonna hate on your for using a colorimeter to calibrate your TV and not a 2000$ spectro. How dare you!
lol
I just bought this TV, with the ST 7000 soundbar setup. i use Audioquest carbon hdmi cables. i have tried a new apple 4k tv streamer, roku ultra streamer, and shield pro tv, and used the internal streamer as well. i notice what i call jittery/delay/slowness/sluggishness watching movies (Hulu, Netflix, Paramount+, etc). my old setup which was a 2016 Sony LCD TV with the same streamers/cables/soundbar did not have this problem, it was a 75" TV. Any special settings? ive tried various TV settings on the new X95L and while some seem to have helped it, its still there.
all units updated. i tried wireless and wired connections. i have a VERY good gig fiber connection. It's something with this TV because i fire the old one up or my other TV's and no problems, anyone have similar issues? all devices are new and TV was bought from Sony, and not used before.
i will say i am surprised how much heat it throws off, but i guess 85" compared to the 75" will do that, but just thought these would be a little cooler. it's nothing blazing, just something in noticed
Very informative. Thanks!
Great video. Steve do you recommend this over the x93L 85 inch? Mostly dark room & straight on viewing. No side seating.
Must be the best I’ve seen that’s not oled. Oled is great but this closes the gap almost completely.
I can't wait to see the X95M with more local dimming zones.
I have this tv at home and blooming is not a problem you will not notice it
So when watching movies in a dark room this might be not the best option because of the brightness right?
What about gaming? Is this tv a good option for PS5 and PC Nvidia gaming? Thanks in advance!
when will a 65" version of this TV come to the US? I am ready to upgrade my Panasonic plasma TV.
Hi, is there some Blooming around the bridge @ 1:22 ?
5:56 What is this test video?
