Hi Steve! Quick question: I got a Sony A95L not too long ago for movie nights in a dedicated room, but I need a brighter TV for my wife in the living room. I have two options: the 75” Sony X93L for $1,298 from Walmart or the 85” Sony X90L for $1,599 from Costco (sale starts tomorrow by the way). Which one would you suggest? My living room has 4 windows and can get bright during the day. Thanks!
You haven't said if the settings are default/out the box or calibrated? It's an unfair comparison. You should compare TCL QM6K vs Hisense U6N, both entry level Mini LEDs.
I have a Hisense 55H6590F that I bought in April 2020. It always had and still has great picture and sound. But it has fairly bad DSE from being 5 years old. So I tried to replace it with a TCL QM7. It had great picture quality but pretty muffled sound. So I returned it and tried a u7n. The u7n had identical picture to my 2020 tv. Unfortunately that also included the bad DSE of my old tv. But the U7N had better sound than the QM7. Although neither had as good of sound as my 2020 Hisense. Maybe I just got a bad U7N panel. But seeing as how the picture quality aside from DSE were both nearly identical to the old Hisense, I’m just gonna hold off until my TV finally gives out completely before I replace it
My Hisense u7 does everything perfectly except for 2 things. Viewing angles, which for my area isn’t an issue, and ghosting/smearing. I’ve tried every setting under the sun. But there is noticeable ghosting and smearing in every form of content and gaming, hdr on or off, game mode on or off, clarity effects, etc. it’s rly quite annoying and noticeable sadly
Even though the Hisense is very close to the TCL I wouldn't buy one because the panel lottery you play is crazy been happy with my TCL out of the box no cloudiness no dirty screen effect like I've seen on a lot of Hisense TVs
The u7n got an update that changed the black level slider. When u tinker wit that u can improve the pic dramatically. I have my black level slider between negative 15 and negative 25.
Hey Steve. My U7N has way too over saturated Cyan levels. I have to set it to -15 to combat white and shadowed areas looking this ghastly blue. Any tips? Otherwise a great all round tv for the price range.
I enjoyed the video but you might as well completely cut the audio portion starting around 4:09. There's just no possible way to garner any information from that section.
I bought a Hisense on March 2nd and today I wake up and I have a vertical black line running on my screen with a round bubble at the very bottom of it!!! To say the least I am beyond infuriated exactly 100 days later this happened WHY???!!🤬
Just upgraded from u8h from a couple years ago to the qm6k, went from 65 to 75 inch , I really enjoyed my u8h I messed it up , so I'm excited to see how the qm6k performs, I am glad I went to 75 inch I eyeballed the u7n but I got the qm6k on sale

The tcl has better color and less gray areas . Has more blacklight

in my country hisense use vida, thats a BIG no for me. i choose tcl.

They both look great but the TCL QM7 is far superior
Funny I have a hisense and love it however side by side you guys are saying hisense is better but to me the tlc shows better in more modes
