Can you please do a video on setting up an Xbox series x on the a80k?🙏🏾🙏🏾
just got a 65’ a80k and i’m putting it in my room which isn’t the biggest, will that be an issue?
I have owned the A80K for 7 months, I truly feel that if you are not a hard core gamer, you should buy this television. The 10% brightness on the 2023 version is not worth the extra money. The picture on the A80K is spectacular, this television is so good I have decided to wait until 2025 to even think about upgrading. If you can afford the A90k or A80k I would suggest purchasing one of them and waiting. I had mine calibrated and it blows my mind how streaming channels, Dolby Vision, HDR and regular sports look so 3 demensional! OLED's are the way to go if you are a cinema addict and not a gamer. These 2022 models by Sony are future proofed enough for me for the next 2 years. I love this damn television!!! SMATT
Excellent review i am currently looking to buy a demo from costco 65 at 1100. Thank you
Just bought a 65 a80k. Would love some assistance on some picture settings
My brother just bought this tv. He seems to love it. Sent him a link to your review
Have had the A80K for a week I don't know. All I've heard is how great OLED is. Guess it comes down to my room being brighter than thought. Also, no windows behind the TV causing a reflection on the screen. Seems like it struggles to get bright enough. If choosing Vivid mode on the picture it is, but the setting seems to be quite off. I don't know for a premium model I expected more. Possibly a lower-cost LED would have been better. The jury is still out on it.
Snagged a like new opened box 55A80K from Bestbuy today for $750 out the door including tax and a 3 year warranty. I think I got a pretty dame good deal what do you think ?
I got my 65 inch a80k for $1600 but it went back up to $1800 so not really a great deal. I would rather get the a90j for $400 more.
The a80k is still a fantastic oled. Most would be satisfied with is it as long as your room isn't very bright
I’ve bought this TV, but it’s been delayed in arrival, if it doesn’t end up coming, I’ll probably get a refund and save up a little more for the A80L
What's the response time, I heard it's like 8ms but that there was a setting that could bring that down???
Had this tv for just shy of three months black black to the point of in the night I cant see where the tv ends and the wall begins
HDR content on YouTube allow me to show it off to my friends and Apple TV Dolby vision Dolby sound just add the icing on the cake
the sony A80k is a great TV just like lg c2
The L Series is not that much brighter

Just bought the Sony A80K 65” in Australia, the L was $4000 Australian dollars. Got the A80K for AU $2500. Bargain for me.
Got the A80K today 😶
First time I have been ever been disappointed in a Sony product.
I bought the TV and put on Star Trek Picard season 3 and I found it unwatchable because it was so dark.
The picture just isn’t bright enough.
I returned it and got an LG G3.
Much brighter
How do i get my a80k to look good as how it did when i first saw it on at best buy? Is it professionally calibrated? Etc
Does it push mac mini m2 to 120hz??
Which size to get at 9 feet distance?
Thank you…the review is still useful for A80l…questiom. Where to find headphone for surround aound compatibility?
any fire tv with atsc 3.0?
Hi Steve. To be honest I purchased a A80L and I was extremely disappointed here. I was all happy. I got my first Ola TV when I got my first OLED TV so when I set it up and turned it on, I was so disappointed at how dim it was . So I went to vibrant mode and turned everything up full blast to see if I could get it to pop a little bit more but nope. I brought it back to to where I purchased it and I went out and got a Hisense u8h. and my opinion is the Hisense Baught in the water . And the room where I am watching it is not that bright so disappointed but one thing I did like about Sony is the massive amount of settings that you could really tweak a TV so I believe my next TV will be a Sony mini LED TV
Wonderful video Steve . I totally agree with you about this TV , and 9 months ago I bought a Best Buy A80K demo 65" tv, with 3500 hours + , for only $700 +99$ of 2 years of warranty, And it is the best TV in my life.
i think i'm going to have to decide in teh store. haha
Sadly mine just died as of September 18. Apparently it was the Tcon board and bestbuy said they will just give me a new tv. I just got it today September 21. I got a LG EVO C4 and honestly I really do prefer the Google OS vs WebOS. I do like the brighter picture of the LG. I just wish my Sony A80K would have last longer than a year and 10 months. Anyways the LG C4 looks a bit better because of the previously mentioned brighter screen.
I currently have the 77” A80K as our main tv and just had an extremely good offer for the A90L 85” tv and was wanting to know if I would be downgrading or if this would be a nice TV to replace the 77”? We watch sports and tv on this TV.
I am going with A80K. I just need a good clear picture with good sound.
I have an HDMI 2.1 switch from Govee that helps me to connect all my gaming consoles.
