Great content. I would like a PC Productivity review for the U8N 55". As evermore developers, designers, and content creators are using TVs as their main monitor. I would add side-by-side of IDEs (like visual studio code), the Godot Engine, and perhaps Adobe apps. Some text comparison to say a 32" 1080p and 4k monitors would be most helpful for that group, including gamers.

I need to choose between 85” u7n or 75” u8n. I want to know if size is worth the picture tradeoff. 85” will be a stretch in my small living room. But I’m likely moving soon
Are these quality TVs? Meaning, the parts won't burn out in 2 to 3 years. All my current TV's get about 10 years of life, some 12. Are these on par with that or is the data not there yet?

I was looking at both tv's the other day. Looking at the specs, there were only a couple of differences that i noticed. I actually think the sound is better on the u7n despite less speakers. its sounds louder but more tinny on the u8n. I agree the picture looks brighter in some instances on the u8n in your video examples. I currently own a 12 yr old 50" Toshiba tv. Will definitely be upgrading in the next 2 months. Great comparison of tvs though. Short and concise. Ty

Yes, the U8N its brighter than the U7N but not to this extend..Actually some times the U7N in other comparisons its brighter, but in a wrong way, looking washed out overall . The U8N has better contrast and highlights even if it looks darker at times. But no way the U7N its so dark and so apart in brightness like this comparison here. In this case a screen with 350/ 400 peak nits will be totally black with HDR on.
Hey Tech Steve! Pardon my ignorance but if I buy the U7N, is it possible with some tweaking with settings that I can get it to look close to the U8N? Or is that not a feasible way of going about it. Thanks in advance!
Great Video , I want to buy 65" TV max 1.500 Euros . At this Price are : Samsung S90D – Hisense U8N- Sony Bravia 7 … ( I dont play games it will only used for Netflix and Disney all content would be HDR and some SDR . I have a Bright Room and The Couch is also around the TV , So Viewing angles do matter ( not for me i stand in front ) but i guees for friends . What i have to buy ? My room has 6X7 Meters Glass doors , If i let light get in its almost unwatchable in my LG C4 that i have now .
Please review the 55inch.thats all I can afford and my understanding is because of the panels they use as opposed to the 65 inch tv's that there’s a significant difference between the two.

Companies like Hisense keep the market very competitive and will contribute to consumers getting more value for the money. I do however wonder about personal data that can be shared with foreign clouds….

I wish they have versions where they save on costs and don’t provide any tweeters or subwoofers. Most people who buy these will have their own external sound system anyways.

Coming from a 65U8G to deciding between 65U8N or 75U7N. Same price. Do you think the size makes a big difference over better picture quality?

It was the 55" U8N for me over the 65" U7N at the same price. Performance beats size in this instance, IMO. Great videos, great content Steve

Your description says it all but there is a significant difference between the two in a 75 inch. It would be nice to comare these two.

U8N is not launched in India (and I think it won't be either) and U7N launched in India has 336 local dimming zones.

I know that I said I was going to get like the Sony X90L or the X93L, but I decided to save money and stick with Hisense, purchasing the 65U7N.
What about the coil whine? My U7N has it, what about U8N?
