Is this Tv going to go straight to channel when I turn it on, or is this TV going to go straight to some stupid smart hub bullshit? I have an elderly mother that has a hard time understanding these new features and I want it to be just simple for her to operated. I do not want some stupid smart hub bullshit.
How would you rate this TV in 50 inch (non IPS) compared to the Samsung QLED Q60C? (QN55Q60CAFXZC) Is one a clear winner in viewing angle, blacks and colors? I definitely purchased this when you first did this video thank god that lg honored the year warranty the panel started streaking and blooming like crazy. I didn’t pick up the whole va panel and up panel part the first time, and I purchased the 50
I picked up the IPS version of this TV and it was trash. Looked like the six year old backlit Phillips it was replacing. Cannot speak for the smaller VA version. Personally would not recommend this TV.
4:00 That was the deal breaker for me right there, how it loses it's color as you change you angle. I have a Samsung Q80B and it's color/contrast remains the same even when you switch angles, thank you for this great review Steve!!!
I got no where else to ask this. LG acts like it doesn't exist. My last tv had its 120hz always 8n use and could select resolution. My new QNED80URA is a mess I can't find resolution nor hz selection. What can I do? I miss my 120hz.
Blooming in this tv is bad ? Because some one buy it and can see blooming on edge of picture in dark situations please help me and say is it good tv for ps 5 gaming?
This is pretty much the best 50" $500-ish TV to use as a big screen 120hz PC gaming monitor because the Samsung QN80 uses a 60hz panel in the 50 inch version and the Sony X85K can't display 4K 120Hz with 4:4:4 chroma, and the Hisense U7k doesn't come in a 50". The U7K 55" is just big enough to cause problems with off angle viewing, I know because I tried one and if the U7K came in a 43" and 50" they'd be perfect PC gaming displays.

No Dolby Vision and Can't take advantage of both hdmi 2.1 if you run it through a sound bar…. I guess I'm getting the OLED instead.
