I've had a b 9 85" for 2 weeks now. I liked it but not totally impressed. My 6 year old samsung has about the same color. It does look kinda oled like. But it's in my van right now because I'm taking it back . Because just like the sony a80l 83" the sony software just acts weird with my 7.2.6 emotiva recever. So I'm going to go with a s95d or a g4 next time.
I wonder what kind os resine Sony used to make this so accurate RGB color filter layer, to receive the modulated light from the backlight and display those bloody reds, inky greens and profound blues, we just see on OLED material panels 😮

I am having a dilemma. My sony a9g 65 inch oled got busted so according to insurance i will get a brand new. As oled are out of stock, they are offering me bravia 7 miniled. What should i do?

Bravia 9 does not go 4000 nits…the reference master monitor does.
Its been reviewed that the max nits it can go is 3000 nits.
I think 4000 nits is still only achievable on the Sony Z series TV
