Bravia 9 looks far better than Bravia 8 👍
Many ppl say the max nits is 4000 for the B9
Mini led is already remarkably close to oled. Even my budget friendly 2024 hisense U7N is damn close to oled levels of contrast, deep blacks and minimal blooming.
Shit its almost identical to my dynamic amoled 2x 2k display on my galaxy s22 ultra in terms of color, black levels and brightness where my phone peaks at 1750 nits with extra brightness turned on and my tv reaches a peak 1500 nits.
Best of both worlds is mini led!
What Sony do you have now watching ? In your home ?
Is that mini LED
I'm here because all of my 6 LG Products, Fridge, Stove, Microwave, Oled TV, Dryer, Washer 4 of then have went out besides the older "Gas" Washer and Dryer. Oled Burn in, Microwave Fan and Board Burnt out on two different Occasions, Stove Door switch died and Oven would not turn on, Fridge Has gone through 4 Compressors so far in less than 3 years. No more LG Products for me Anymore.
Im looking to get a Sony TV that Caught my Eye in Costco and Sony Bravia 8 Oled at Costcos for I think $2799 now its on sale for $2599 "Black Friday" deal and also comes with a 5 year warranty.
Now seeing the Qled, I think I will still be going with the Oled as I watch more TV at night that I do during the main room is my Day and Night Movie Room. I don't game on large TV's as it is the worst thing you can do to your eyes, I learned the hard way. So gaming doesn't matter to me as i now game on a Alienware 27 inch screen gaming Monitor.
I think it's going to be Oled for me.
Thank you Steve.
Steve…would you go with the 77” B8 or 75” B9 in a basement setting which will have very little ambient light? Thx and great comparison! 👍
I Sold my Bravia 8 not Bright enough , Motions not as good and the Whites aren't white enough ,,all this compared to the B9
I have the new Sony Quad speakers…….will they perform the same with either TV? Thanks.
None of these support HDR10+, is this important (mainly asking for blu rays playback on an HDR10+ player). I read that there are only very few blu rays with HDR10+, but I don’t know what is the trend going to be for the future and if I should be looking for a tv supporting hdr10+
8 BABY ,, JUST GO BY THE GIRL PIC…. SO DIFFERENT ,, THE 9 LOOKS LIKE IT HAS A WHITE FILTER OVER EVERYTHING
Last week i've bought the Sony Bravia9 85 inch. Omg is fundamentlty trash, it's totally crap. Dark shadows get completely lost and there isn't any way to get rid off any problems using the settings. A big issue also for me is the sharpness, and pixel-density. Films don't look any good. On every cut-shot the picture freeze a couple of miliseconds, especially when the picture changing from white to dark and visa versa, that's in my opinion really disturbing. I tried one week everything possible in the settings; changing something always causes an other problem. I will return this peace of garbage a s.a.p. I also don't like the 3000 nits, no thanks, I get completely blind. More nits, are you nuts?
good video
I had the Bravia 8 and it truly was a phenomenal tv. Motion is huge for me and it wasn’t quite as smooth as LG and that was a deal breaker but image wise it destroys a C4
Sony not any more japan it's panel from lg korea collaboration india or malaysia panel quality not last long ….
Recomendarías una Fondo de pantalla para la TV que cambie cada 30 segundos??? (Sin ningún reloj fijo).
Es que están muy bonitos pero le pienso cargarme el LED Orgánico.
I did get the 9 but why i get light headed everytime i watched movies 😂 i think its the price tag 😂
Which one would be good in a bedroom setup ?
I "LOVE" my Sony Bravia 8, but only when in the "Vivid" picture mode. Because the vivid picture mode is where the wonderful brightness is with this TV. Only in the vivid picture mode is the Bravia 8 beautifully bright and brilliant to the max. Other TV's in the vivid picture mode can become too bight for comfort, but this is not the case with the Bravia 8, which becomes perfectly bright and balanced in vivid picture mode. All the other picture modes on the Bravia 8, I found to be just a little dim for my liking, which many other viewers may prefer. I just keep my Bravia 8 in the vivid picture mode, which is the picture mode used for all display model TV's in all the stores like Best Buy, because they considered vivid to be the best mode to show off the TV's max capabilities, and that's the exact way I want to watch TV in my home. In the vivid picture mode, the Bravia 8's picture quality is absolutely jaw dropping. I picked the Sony Bravia 8 over the comparable OLED models from LG and Samsung.
Great review and I have both TVs. I just wished reviewers made a video with both type of TVs in a well lit room from far away and that’s where you see the difference if you’re not in a cave, I would say many miniLED for daytime and oled for caves.
had to return the bravia 8, it was just too dim in certain scenes. looked great otherwise though. trying out a TCL QM8 instead as I dont think the B9 is quite worth the price
This brightness train is getting ridículous 😂😂 i prefer contrast and pure blacks over the BRIGHTNESS, blooming and greyish blacks. Oled for the win always.
Which is better for Center sync with Sony Theater Quad?
Mini led Trumps Oled. The dimmed whites on Bravia 8 are to me a deal breaker. Bravia 9 all the way.
Thanks for the review. I am going for Bravia 8 👍👍👍
Thanks for a great video—clear, thoughtful, and genuinely helpful.
After considering an OLED TV for many weeks now, this video kinda tipped the scale.
I wish the BRAVIA 8 was brighter to be honest. It was either this or no OLED at all.
Mini Led😂❤
