I didn't see any voice control dedicated button on the remote controller for this Samsung model of tv that you showed on this video. Does this tv's remote controller at least have a built in microphone for voice control?
I bought this TV 2 months ago but took it back to upgrade to the Samsung Q7f 2025. To my eyes this tv gets brighter but my q7f has great color and deep blacks. I hope you review the Q7f just to see your thoughts on it.

I'm looking for a 70" for a specific room that can't go any bigger, and the light in the room shifts dramatically over the course of the day. Thanks!
Hi! I just bought a 43-inch Samsung TV for my mom. They live in Puerto Rico. I did all the steps for the setup. However, I can't get the Tv plus option. When it asked to enter your Samsung account or to create I did. However, i never got the portion where you entered the zip code at the end like you did. They have an older version and have full access to TV plus. All my TVs back home (USA) are Samsung as well and I have access to.YV plus. Do i need to pay for the Samsung account they ask for?.Do you have any recommendations. I'm not sure if i should keep this one. Thanks in advance
My 76 year old friend just purchased one. He has NO internet, NO wifi, NO computer and doesn't even have a cell phone (land line only). He just got rid of a 27" tube TV and he's having problems with this TV. He thought he could just plug it in and turn it on like the good old days 😢 I live 2,700 miles away.
I bought this one in the 55 inch model this month. I was kicking myself for not getting the DU8000 Samsung until I read that the U8000F is direct lit. That sold it for me.
Mines coming tomorrow DU700 ticks All the boxes for me will try other movie apps and see if better than netflix etc..gaming looks great for my PS5 finally…and the customisation of the screen looks great very excited as my old Samsung was brilliant
Thanks, Steve. I do have a question. I tried to set up Bixby. There were some items to turn on and off. Tried to turn them on (Hands free wake up etc) and all of them gave this message: Unable to change settings now. Available when a Samsung Soundbar with a built in mircrophone is connected. HELL NO!!! Unaffordable. If there is no way to overiride this feature, the TV is going back.
My mother got one of these. Shes old school and on her old tv that died she was using an antenna to get local channels. I went crazy trying to find a way to scan for antenna channels on this tv. Does this tv not support that?
@techsteve I noticed you mentioned that it does not have an optical input. I have an older Sony Sound Bar HT-CT770 and I use it for the TV speaker utilizing the optical input. My sound bar does have 3 HDMI ins and 1 out. Can I still make this TV work with my existing sound bar? Right now I have an older 2014 55” Vizio model M602i-B3. I am just wanting the bigger 65” screen and they have a great price on this at Costco right now.

Tech Steve thanks I just bought the 8000 F and it is installed. If I turn the TV off and on again I get a pop-up in the top right corner with maintenance tips. I can click on more info or connect, but how do I get there with the cursor or how can I turn this off the next time I turn on the TV?

One thing I don't like about the TV is that my Roku remote can not control volume of the TV…. or I haven't found a setting that allows it.
