What I really hate about budget TVs is the light bleed all over the borders, for a bedroom I don't need the best TV so this would be cheap and nice but it has it. My in-laws bought a TCL q6 and it also has it, only mid-range and up are less likely to have it.
I saw on a forum on Reddit that Hisense tvs don't really use Quantum Dots, don't know how true it is but I bought a 50" QD5N & a 50" A7N for my younger daughters & the master bedroom this Christmas, but I think I'm going to give the A7N to the oldest daughter and buy a 55" U8N or U7N for the master bedroom. Anyway one reason I bought the QD5N for my girls was because of the quantum dots, if this is true Hisense should be ashamed of themselves for false advertising!

This was the worst purchasing decision I ever made. I bought the essence frame TV for $1000, It last 2 months before the remote died. The company says that their remote is paired only to the TV and cannot be replaced in the store. I have been negotiating to get a new one for a month with no progress. The TV is worthless. I spend $1000 for nothing.
Hisense QD5N, Hisense A7N, or the TCL Q651G. I'm debating which TV to get for my guest room between these models since they're all in the same price range. Which would be the best to get between these for my use case?
What’s best? This qd5 or the r6 from Hisense ? Regarding black levels and “dirty screen effect” I’m considering the two , partially inclined for the qd5 as it comes with google tv , but in your r6 video black levels and overall picture quality look better on the r6

Hisense and tlc have scam everyone best way to return the favor is to not buy their product anymore
This TV is nice. It would look good in my living room with my KLIPSCH Cinema 600 sound bar hooked up to it.
I had the top of the line Hisense and I still took it back and got a LG oled
Hi. Any thoughts on Hisense QD5 vs Hisense A7N?
They are both budget priced, but my gut feeling is that the color gamut and native contrast will be better on the A7N.
DSE can be bad on lower end TVs but the upscaling looks pretty decent on this Hisense. Thanks for the review Steve.
