Yeah I talked to Samsung about this TV and he told me and I think he's dead wrong that this is a quantum dot TV I see no evidence of that in this video or on Samsung website and I think there is anyway it's about $1,000 now I'm a big Samsung fan I love ther smartphones had many notes some S-Series and now the s22 ultra which I really like and someday I may get the s23 ultra when it comes out never had one of the TV'S though it appears to be a decent TV but I don't think it has quantum dot technology like he claimed see no evidence of that unless somebody can show me different it don't get as bright as many does and it don't have full array local dimming now I have a Hisense 75 in with full array local dimming and it also is Uled with quantum dot technology and more nits of brightness and the 75 inch which is a 2022 is $800. less than the Samsung so when you look at the technology here the Hisense is a better TV and before this TV I had an R8 Hisense really good TV. And like I said I am a Samsung guy at least when it comes to smartphones and tablets. But it's obvious in this case when it comes to a more cheaper TV Hisense is much better and it has Google TV with full array local dimming and quantum dot technology so I would guess in this case I would go with the Hisense even though I like Samsung.

Hi, i just purchased this tv and I noticed that there are transparent horizontal line at the bottom of the screen. I tried to change the aspect ratio but it still aplears on 4:3 and custom sizes. Is this a factory defect?

Hey Steve, I have a tu8200 43 inch tv. I’m looking to replace my remote however the newer refreshed remotes look simmilar enough to where it looks like they could work on my model. Do you think the newer remote works on the previous 8 series?
